The United States Chamber of Commerce is not affiliated with the US government. The Chamber is the architect of the war against the middle class. So the Chinese hacked it? It doesn’t hurt the 99 percent.

The demand for goods and services creates jobs and nothing else matters, more or less. That’s why the middle and lower classes, or as we like to say, the 99 percent, are the jobs creators. The rich are the job destroyers. That’s why thirty years of trickle down economics has gotten us into another Republican Great Depression. That’s also why redistributing income from the 99 percent to the 1 percent destroys jobs. That’s right. This process, like the recent South Korea outsourcing jobs and redistributing income to the rich treaty,” destroy jobs. Destroying jobs on behalf of the 1 percent means destroying prosperity for the 99 percent.

Europeans migrate south as continent drifts deeper into crisis

Since its conception, the European Union has been a haven for those seeking refuge from war, persecution and poverty in other parts of the world. But as the EU faces what Angela Merkel has called its toughest hour since the second world war, the tables appear to be turning. A new stream of migrants is leaving the continent. It threatens to become a torrent if the debt crisis continues to worsen.
