The Republicans are up to it again. They want to cut taxes for the Gods of Wall Street. You know those guys. The Republicans and many Democrats say those are the folks that create jobs, even if it hasn’t ever been true, and even if their tax cuts actually destroy jobs, which they did. The Republicans aren’t dumb. They know tax cuts for the rich don’t create jobs, but the Republicans have to worship at the alter of Greed in order for the Golden Gods of Wall Street to weep golden trinkets upon them. That way they can accumulate enough money to get reelected.
