(Reuters) – Republican Mitt Romney acknowledged Tuesday that his income tax rate is “probably closer to 15 percent than anything,” suggesting that one of the wealthiest people to ever run for U.S. president pays a much lower rate than most Americans.

MADISON, Wisconsin (Reuters) – Organizers of the petition drive to recall Wisconsin Governor, and Koch Brothers political fetch boy, Scott Walker submitted what appeared to be more than enough signatures on Tuesday to force the first-term Republican to defend his seat in a special election. That’s a good thing for the citizens of Wisconsin since the Koch Brothers shouldn’t control the state government, especially since they don’t live in the state.

OccupyCongress kicked off its first large, coordinated protest on Capitol Hill in several months today, but the first of two big events did not pass without controversy. They came to fight corruption in all three branches of the government: the corrupt corporate wing of the supreme court, both houses of congress and the presidency. They came to demand government accountability to all citizens, not just to the lazy, incompetent rich. They came to fight the big money the affluent have paid out to government representatives, essentially rendering our our representatives no better than well trained dogs on leashes for the rich.
