Another Betrayal of the People by the US Government: The Trans-Pacific Income Redistribution Scheme

Wall Street is at it again. Secret negotiations are taking place called the “Trans-Pacific Free Trade Treaty.” Your government is planning on shipping more jobs from the United States. The difference between the old wages here and the new wages there will be redistributed from the 99 percent to the one percent via higher corporate profits, rising dividends and surging share prices.
Once more jobs are shipped away, the tax base will be weakened, and this means they’ll be cutbacks of teachers, police, firemen and other government employees. They’ll be less money to fix potholes, maintain our libraries and other vital social services.
On top of that, your government is planning on restricting your freedom via this scam, possibly by curbing your access to the world wide web. But we really don’t know since your government is holding these negotiations in secret, and the only people invited are the ones who will receive your income and benefit by curtailing your freedoms.
These negotiations are a complete betrayal of the American people.
Don’t be a victim! Call your representatives in congress! Organize and Occupy.
