The corrupt corporate wing of the supreme court ruled that coporations were people and that they could raise bazillions of dollars to bribe politicians without disclosing who their contributors were. The founding fathers would’ve been aghast at these easily bribed justices, bribed either with money, or access to economic royality, or other reasons. However, now a lower court has ruled that the names of the money donors must be revealed. Notice that the corporate media has for the most part refused to report this story. See the link below.

By the way, we know that corporations and financial markets are owned by the one percent and are the principal conduits through which wealth and income are redistributed from the 99 percent to the one percent. Legislation has created these conduits. And the corrupt, corporate wing of the Corporate Supreme Court has been sold to the highest bidder, as described above. The court is a major tool of the rich in their war against the middle class.

Jim Cramer Says Romney is ‘a job destroyer, not a creator’

CNBC personality Jim Cramer provided an opinion Sunday morning that won’t be endorsed by Republican presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romney, calling his time at Bain Capital as one more about firing than hiring people.

Appearing on Meet The Press in the roundtable segment, the Mad Money host differed with David Gregory’s perspective that Romney had a “real area of strength” over President Barack Obama on the economy. Gregory based his view on a recent ad from the Romney campaign that mentioned how the former Massachusetts governor would approve of the controversial Keystone pipeline if he was president.

“Romney is known as a job destoryer, not a creator,” Cramer said. “I just don’t think that this will stick, I think Bain sticks. I think the idea that you bring in Bain, which is what happened, in the 80′s. They fire people and that’s how they get prosperity for the rich.”

It’s well known that private businesses soak the poor. What’s less well known is that the government does it as well.

“The trick is to rob them in ways that are systematic, impersonal, and almost impossible to trace to individual perpetrators. Employers, for example, can simply program their computers to shave a few dollars off each paycheck, or they can require workers to show up 30 minutes or more before the time clock starts ticking.

Lenders, including major credit companies as well as payday lenders, have taken over the traditional role of the street-corner loan shark, charging the poor insanely high rates of interest. When supplemented with late fees (themselves subject to interest), the resulting effective interest rate can be as high as 600% a year, which is perfectly legal in many states.”

Is Greece About Ready to Leave the Euro in the Dust?

European officials are working on contingency plans in case Greece bombs out of the euro zone, the EU’s trade commissioner said on Friday, while Berlin said it was prepared for all eventualities.
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, one of Greece’s harsher critics, said market turmoil fuelled by the euro zone debt crisis could last another year or two.

Let’s get something straight. President Obama is a tool of Wall Street in its war against the middle class. He is their class warrior. The Obama team is negotiating to ship more jobs overseas, gut US laws and do a lot of other nasty stuff to the middle class. Check out the video below from Occupy Dallas.

Here’s how free trade works; your income is freely given to the rich. It’s that simple. When your government signs a free trade treaty, it is opening up doors for US companies to ship jobs overseas from the USA, or giving them a conduit through which to create jobs over seas rather than here, which would never have occurred without the treaty. The difference between the old wages here and the new lower wages there go into the pockets of the one percent via higher corporate profits, rising dividends and enhanced share prices. The losers of those jobs might get unemployment insurance, if they’re lucky. The American tax base is being systematically destroyed via each treaty as more and more jobs are shipped or created overseas by American companies. Schools are starving for money, so are public libraries and other governmental agencies because the tax money has been stuffed into the already fat wallets of the one percent via trade treaties.

In other words, the Obama administration is knowingly negotiating to redistribute income from your pockets and the pockets of your children to the rich as it negotiates the Trans Pacific Free Trade Agreement. How’s that for a man of the people?

Here’s the latest update from Dallas, Texas.

As trade negotiators from throughout the Pacific Rim gathered outside Dallas for a trade summit aimed at speeding the secretive Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Free Trade Agreement towards conclusion, Texans were out in force to demand a public voice in the negotiating process. With the help of Citizens Trade Campaign and the Texas Fair Trade Coalition, local labor, environmental and community advocates:

Delivered over 42,000 petition signatures urging the U.S. Trade Representative to release the texts. Over 24,000 were presented during a media event with speakers from the Texas AFL-CIO, Lone Star Sierra Club, Communications Workers of America Local 6215, and then delivered to Assistant USTR Carol Guthrie. Later in the week, CTC hand-delivered an additional 18,000+ to lead U.S. negotiator Barbara Weisel during a stakeholder briefing, at which point she publicly stated USTR’s new position that “constantly evolving TPP chapter texts cannot be released to the public” — a rollback in transparency from both the current World Trade Organization negotiating process and the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) of more than a decade ago.

Followed up on the petition with a high-energy “TPP: Out of the Shadows!” rally and march. The demonstration started with a rally trade justice advocates from across Texas and the Pacific Rim. More than 300 people then marched over into the parking lot of the hotel where negotiators were meeting, before they were stopped by police. Texas AFL-CIO President Becky Moeller led the march by asking “What are they trying to hide?,” and CTC Executive Director Arthur Stamoulis led the crowd in a spirited “mic check” directed at negotiators.

Conducted a wide range of educational activities, including a teach-in moderated by the Dallas Peace Center, with fantastic presentations by Lori Wallach (Global Trade Watch), Celeste Drake (AFL-CIO), Ilana Solomon (Sierra Club) and Sanya Reid Smith (Third World Network). CTC staff also participated in a CWA-hosted telephone town hall, as well as meetings and events throughout the week with the Steelworkers, Teamsters, Building Trades, Sierra Club and Occupy Dallas. Occupy even live-streamed the May 12th rally.

Separate from CTC’s efforts, a number of independent activists also carried out a variety of stunts throughout the week, including a Yes Men award presentation; replacing hotel toilet paper with special TPP TP; projecting transparency messages onto the side of the hotel; putting flyers under negotiators’ hotel room doors; and more.

The next round of TPP negotiations will be in the United States from July 2 – 10, 2012, widely rumored to take place in Los Angeles.

President Obama has said that he supports same sex marriage. It was a simple, calculated political move. The Democratic base had nothing to rejoice about Obama. He’d given the rich everything they could have wanted during his presidency, most of which his working class base had been against.

He needed to find something he could support, something that would fire up his theoretical base, but not arouse his real base, and so same sex marriage became the way to go. That’s because Obama’s real base is the one percent, and in particular it is Wall Street. The theoretical base is the votes, the real base is the money. Obama was worried about getting enough people to vote for him.

A better issue for Obama would’ve been supporting rising taxes on the rich, since low taxes on them destroy jobs and buy politicians. That’s how the one percent has stolen 93 percent of total US income growth since 2009. But Obama wouldn’t want us to know that, nor does he want to change the status quo. So like any good corporate owned candidate, and especially like Republicans, Obama chose a social issue in which to rally the theoretical base, all while ensuring the one percent picked the pockets of the 99 percent by using government legislation. This way he’ll continue to get the money, as well as the votes.

The presidential election of 2012 is rigged to ensure that a Wall Street candidate gets the office; our choice will be simple; Wall Street Obama or Wall Street Mitt. It’s time to take to the streets: Occupy!

Obama talks gay marriage, but not the financial rape of the 99 percent by the one percent
