The Trans Pacific Partnership has been under negotiation since 2008. Encompassing 11 Pacific rim nations, this treaty is the most massive and most secretive income redistribution treaty of all time. Leaked documents prove that the Obama regime has negotiated to raise prices of goods and services, slash US and Latin American wages, export more US jobs, curtail civil liberties (yes that’s being negotiated (Wikileaks–The Trans Pacific Partnership), force millions more undocumented immigrants from Latin America to the United States, and all of this redistributes income from the 99 to the 1 percent and curbs what little democracy we have left. Any questions?

Do you get that? Republicans and Corporate Democrats such as the traitor Ron Wyden intend to pass this treaty via legislation called Fast Track, which will limit debate on the issue in congress to 24 hours. That will give you virtually no time to read the treaty, or for much public debate on it. And that is the purpose of Fast Track.

There have been world wide protests against this treaty and the US corporate press fulfills its duties  to the 1 percent by not, or in a few cases, barely, mentioning it. This is to keep us ignorant of the negotiations. Yes, that’s the duty of the corporate news media.

There is an international week of action to Stop Fast Track coming up. If we stop Fast Track or anything similar to it such as Wyden’s Smart Track (which is the same thing with a different name), national debate will ensue over the treaty before a congressional vote takes places, millions will take to the streets to stop this madness, and gunfire may erupt as people get tired of the games the Democrats and Republicans use to financially wipe out the middle class.

This week of action comes as Wall Street President Obama and other heads of state head to Asia this November in an attempt to push forward the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

This is happening just as the Lame Duck session of Congress gets underway, with various Congressional leaders already calling for Fast Track legislation to be considered then. It is a time of year when a lot of people take a break after the elections, and start getting ready for the holidays, such that political accountability is very low. We need your help remaining vigilant so that Fast Track does not sneak through then or in early 2015.

People will soon gather all around the nation and push their congressional representatives not to vote for the TPP or Fast Track. The TPP has brought sundry groups and people together such as members of the the NAACP, Professor Cornell West, Jobs with Justice, Labor Unions, members of the John Birch Society, segments of the Tea Party, and environmental groups, such as the Sierra Club.

In Oregon concerned citizens will gather in front of two of Oregon’s key targets in the fight to stop Fast Track for the TPP, with a focus on how trade policy attacks laws and regulations needed to combat climate change.

Meeting outside of Wall Street Rep. Blumenauer’s office 729 N.E. Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232, and then marching to Wall Street Sen. Wyden’s office.

Google the TPP and the organizations preparing to strike hard against the TPP in your area. Then join your voices to theirs, for your children and theirs. Don’t let the 1 percent and their politicians steal your future with the TPP or via Fast Track.

The Top 1 Percent’s Share of Income from Wealth Has Been Rising for Decades, thanks to legislation supported by Wall Street senator’s Ron Wyden, Mitch McConnell, and Orrin Hatch, as well as President’s Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. We can’t forget Wall Street executives and the Koch brothers are also keen political supporters of the 1 percent massing more and more of the nation’s wealth, which is mostly accrued by the rich via legislation supported by those listed above, among many others.

By the way, wealth is assets, such as stocks, bonds, gold, houses, and other things of value. Income is money derived from either salaries, wages, dividends or capital gains.

The result of an unequal flow of political power is an unequal flow of income and an unequal flow of wealth. The result of all of that is an economy tittering on the brink of the next great depression, which will be far worse for the 99 percent than the last recession.

In the case of the above, the people who are secretly buying elections are the people who demand identification from the voters. They’re the ones who purchase the legislation for doing so.

The evidence is all in; tax cuts for the rich destroy jobs. The money from tax cuts for the rich is used to purchase politicians, like Wall Street Congressman John Boehner and Wall Street Senator Ron Wyden, who then press for legislation or free trade treaties that redistribute income from the 99 to the 1 percent, destroying American jobs in the process.

Free trade treaties are the most obvious case in point. These treaties pave the way for corporations to ship jobs overseas, and the difference between the old higher US wages and the new lower overseas wages goes into the pockets of the super rich via higher corporate profits, rising share prices and soaring dividends.

President Obama is hardly the worst president in history. He’s had some fine accomplishments, but some of us were dismayed at the president for allowing Wall Street executives to get away Scot free from their massive crimes such as mortgage fraud and money laundering for the Mexican drug cartels, but he did rely on these people for campaign cash. This is the first president in any US financial crisis who directed his justice department not to go after a single one of the alleged criminals. That just shows how corrupt the US government is nowadays, and Obama is a product of his times.

The scorched earth politics of the Republican opposition left millions of people in poverty, and they were led by Mitch McConnell and John Boehner, and they did this all for the political gain of the part of the 0.01 percent the Republicans represent. The Republican Party is the greatest example of corruption in modern American history, but the Democratic party is close behind.

Some of us were sorely disappointed than insurance executives were the creators of Obamacare, and no public option was included in the program.

Some of us were dismayed that 95 percent of all US income growth under Obama went to the 1 percent year after year after year, and the president did nothing about that. But this benefited Wall Street and the 1 percent.

Some of us were disgusted the president continued to press for policies that increased income and wealth inequality, such as the Trans Pacific Partnership, the South Korea Free Trade Treaty, and Common Core. Again, this benefited Wall Street and the 1 percent.

As US Senator Elizabeth Warren said about Obama and his economic team, “They protected Wall Street. Not families who were losing their homes. Not people who lost their jobs. And it happened over and over and over.”

The next recession will be worse than the last, especially for the 99 percent. The economy recovered in an anemic fashion, with demand terribly low because of the inequality of income brought about by federal legislation. In 2008, this nation needed a strong leader, a new FDR, and we instead elected the best candidate either major political party was willing to nominate; we got a Wall Street drone.

We are currently in one of the most politically corrupt times in US history. Money has saturated the political and court markets. The Reagan tax cuts began the corruption. The corporate wing of the US Supreme court was the first serious victim of this corruption.

The truth is that the two major political parties are controlled by different factions of the 1 percent, although some of the factions play roles in the political direction of both parties, such as Goldman Sachs. The two parties divide the American people via social issues, and then the two unite to redistribute the income of the 99 percent to the 1 percent via legislation and free trade treaties.

President Obama is a product of his times. Despite that, and despite vicious opposition from the Republican Party that left millions more in poverty simply for political gain, history will likely remember the president more fondly than either of the Bush presidents, President Ford and possibly President Nixon, as well. However, it is possible he will land in the bottom ten worst presidents of all time. Among modern presidents, since say Teddy Roosevelt, Obama will definitely rank right there above Warren Harding, and very few others, so that in my list of the bottom ten president’s since Teddy Roosevelt, Obama rates among the not so bad, definitely not good category.

The Great Presidents

1. Franklin Roosevelt
2. Harry Truman
3. Teddy Roosevelt
4. Lyndon Johnson
5. Dwight Eisenhower
6. Woodrow Wilson
7. Jimmy Carter
8. Gerald Ford
9. William Howard Taft
10. John Kennedy

The corrupt presidents

11. Ronald Reagan
12. Calvin Coolidge
13. Bill Clinton
14. Richard Nixon
15. Bill Clinton
16. Barack Obama
17. George H. W. Bush
18. Warren Harding
19. George W. Bush
20. Herbert Hoover

Notice those who are the worst president’s were also president’s during the times when the federal government was the most corrupted, the 1920s, and the era from 1981 to the current era.

Senator Warren does an excellent job of explaining what has happened to push the middle class down a few notches in the video above. However, she misses some key points. Free trade treaties, for example, have led to the exportation of American jobs by the tens of millions since 1990, according to the Federal Reserve Bank.

The difference between the old higher wages and the new lower overseas wages goes straight into the pockets of the uber rich, which is why Wall Street Senator Ron Wyden supports these income redistribution treaties.

Currently, Wall Street’s favorite senator is pushing the Trans Pacific Partnership, the greatest income redistribution treaty of all time. This is almost entirely President Obama’s treaty, and we’ll never forget that Goldman Sachs was the biggest contributor to the president’s 2008 and 2012 presidential bids. Every major so-called free trade treaty has increased the US trade deficit. Why would anybody in their right mind want to increase that? Oh, that’s right. These treaties are about redistributing income from the 99 to the 1 percent.

That’s just one thing that Warren doesn’t explain. There are many other things in the form of legislation that has redistributed income from the 99 to the 1 percent, but I don’t have time to go into that.

In Oregon, ballot measure 92 asks voters to vote yes or no on labeling food products with GMOs in them. There are plenty of studies that show the harmful impacts on animals, but no long term studies have been done on humans.

Syngenta is the 2nd largest manufacture of GMOs in the world, and its own leaked studies show that the GMO grains it produces for milk cows kills milk cows, and yet, it still sells that poison to dairy farmers. There is an ongoing lawsuit in Germany over this issue. Another of Sygenta’s leaked studies demonstrates a tight link between the demise of amphibians (such as frogs in the USA) and one of its GMO herbicides. That story was published in an academic journal in 2001. Since then, numerous other unbiased academic studies have been published showing the same result. There are a plethora of studies showing that rats fed a diet of GMOs have gotten tumors, cancer, deformed genitalia, and more.

Given the mass of evidence, it appears that the primary purpose of the Oregonian newspaper, as well as the local Willamette Week, is to keep people ignorant of these important issues. The editorial boards of both newspapers have recommended a “no” vote on Measure 92 because there are no long term studies showing potential harmful impacts of GMOs to humans. I’ve never known anybody to have volunteered for such an experiments. Neither newspaper have ever mentioned in the ink on their pages, so far as I can find, the academic studies showing the harm GMO poisons do to animals.

Most people don’t know much, if anything, about genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and that 70 percent of our food are made with them. This suggests the purpose of the Oregonian newspaper and the Willamette Week, as well as most media outlets, is to keep people ignorant. Would anybody eat food with this poison in them if they knew about the dire health risks posed by them? Probably not. Perhaps that’s why these propaganda tools refuse to mention the studies showing unhealthy results of eating GMOs, and why they ask people to vote no on Measure 92.

The actions of the editors of both newspapers also show us that they are merely a tool of the one percent that are used to mislead and lie to the 99 percent so as to more easily shape public opinion to support the financial raping and pillaging of the 99 percent by and for the 1 percent.

Vote for your health! Vote for the health of your children! Vote for the 99 percent! Vote against the 1 percent in their war against the middle class. Do something the editors of the Oregonian newspaper don’t want you to do. Vote yes on Measure 92!
