Please remember this; at $174,000 a year, every member of congress is also a member of the 1 percent. These people have voted us into wars without checking to see if we were lied into them. They’ve passed massive amounts of legislation that redistributes income from the 99 to the 1 percent for over thirty years. They’ve passed legislation that allows Wall Street to control the levers of government, and they’ve passed legislation that makes it easy for the billionaires and their corporations to corrupt government to the core. Sounds like they’re doing a pretty good job.
