Obama signs THE Deny Americans the Right to Know Act, also known as the DARK ACT

Showing what a complete Wall Street/Corporate Hack he is, on Friday, July 29, Monsanto/Wall Street President Barack Obama signed into law S. 764, which overturns Vermont’s GMO label law and directs the Secretary of Agriculture to come up with a national labeling standard at some point in the next two to three years. Don’t you wish Obama would represent the people, all of them, not just the billionaires who fund the Democratic Party?

Under the new law, you’ll have to scan each product with a smart phone in order to figure out if they have GMOs in them. Obama still continues to lie when he maintains that GMOs have been proven safe. What he won’t mention is that GMOs have been proven safe only by the GMO corporations, such as Monsanto. He apparently refuses to look at the hundreds of independent and often peer reviewed studies which show how dangerous GMOs are. There are even two studies that have been performed by GMO giants, and subsequently leaked, that show how dangerous these things are to human health.

On the other hand, most of the Republicans in the congress voted for the DARK Act.

It’s on the ballet: Who’s who in the battle to label GMO poisons in Oregon

Ballet measure 92 in Oregon is turning the state into a battle ground.

The editors of the largest and most rapidly declining newspaper in Oregon, The Oregonian, have made it clear that it’s in the public interest not to allow people to know if they’re consuming GMO poisons. Monsanto and Sygenta and other manufacturers of profitable GMO poisons are also for continuing to poison the 99 percent with GMO, and keeping them uninformed about this crime to boot.

The No on 92 campaign reported contributions last week from Pepsico of $250,000. Virtually, all of Pepsico’s products have the poison in them. The same is true of Hersey products, such as their candy bars. Hersey donated $160,000 to stop people from knowing it puts poison in their food products.

J.M. Smucker has donated $147,000, so don’t go eating that rat poison they call food. The McCormick Company has donated $65,000, Ocean Spray has contributed $35,000, and Bumble Bee has added $22,000. These companies want to keep you ignorant and poisoned. Perhaps it’s because there is a potentially trillions of dollars in class actions lawsuits soon to be on the horizon. Don’t let these CEOs get away from the damage they have caused to your health and the health of others.

Meanwhile, many companies want to expose the GMOs in foods, such as Whole Foods, Health Resources (which has donated $550,000 to the Yes on 92 campaign), and Presence Marketing ($200,000).

Video: The New York Times Helped to Kill Investigative Journalism

Nowadays, and perhaps for as much as thirty years in the past, major news organization investigations into political and economic crimes has been extinct, more or less. The New York Times, like the Washington Post and all other American news organizations, have become more and more propaganda organizations on behalf of the 1 percent and against the 99 percent. Fox News is the most spectacular example of a propaganda organization.

The formula works like this. The propaganda organization will side with the sentimentalities of its main body of readers on social issues, while simultaneously advocating economic policies that redistribute income from the 99 to the 1 percent. In addition, the propaganda organizations will edit and omit any news that will prove their positions wrong on economic issues. And they follow this formula unfailingly. So they’ll advocate, for example, for free trade agreements that devastate the US economy and redistribute income from the 99 to the 1 percent, and they’ll take the side of corporations, such as Monsanto, in advocating for Genetically Modified Foods against, say, organic farmers. They’ll also refuse to publish any studies that show the harmful effects of GMOs, or relegate the reporting to little snippets on page 30, or give it 4 seconds late on the 1 am news hour.

They’ll protect politicians such as Wall Street Senator Ron Wyden, by not mentioning how many jobs the senator has voted to export via free trade agreements in the state he’s supposed to represent, which is Oregon. That’s one of the ways how these so-called news organizations serve the interest of corporate parasites against the interests of the USA as a whole.

The corporate propaganda machine is no longer a free press, and it hasn’t been for a long time.

What Your Government and the Corporate Propaganda Machine Doesn’t Want You To Know: Doctors Warn Against GM Foods

On May 19th, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) called on “Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks.”

They called for an to GM foods, long-term independent studies, and labeling. AAEM’s position paper said, “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food.” That includes “infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system.” According to the AAEM, “There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation,” as defined by recognized scientific criteria. “The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”

Costco: Shifting More and More to Organic

Costco is booming. Profits are up, employee compensation is up, and Costco’s shelves are filled with the future. Every time I shop at Costco, it seems that more and more organic stuff is sitting on the shelves and in the freezers: breads, jams, eggs, chicken, ground beef, and lots of other things.

It’s easy nowadays to hide genetically modified organisms (GMOs), (such as all soy products. Soy is an ingredient in ketchup, mustard and hundreds of other products). GMOs are loaded with  the Bt and Ht toxins, including those labeled “natural.” Shop anywhere and you’ll see this meaningless label. That’s also true at Costco, but it appears that Costco management has decided to go with the future of food, and that’s with safe healthy food called organic.

Many so-called organic stores sell food labeled natural, but which are also filled with GMO poison, such as Whole Foods and New Seasons markets. That’s because GMO ingredients cost less than real natural food, and so enhance the bottom line. In these times of massive amounts of income being redistributed from the 99 to the 1 percent by the government, many people can’t afford to pay higher prices for food. Organic foods cost a little more, but they don’t have the poisons.

There is a difference between real natural and organic foods. Organic growers don’t use pesticides and herbicides. Natural growers use this stuff. Studies show that herbicide and pesticide residuals often remain on natural food in the stores. These things have been found in peoples bodies. For example, the Bt toxin of GMO foods has been found in the uterus of women. It’s difficult, and in some cases, impossible to purge pesticides from your bodies. When a bug bites into a plant loaded with the Bt toxin, the toxin pushes the guts of the bug outward until it explodes.

GMO firms are being sued in Germany because they’ve killed tons of cows fed GMO feed. GMOs are banned in numerous nations throughout the world. They’ve been linked to all kinds of illnesses in rats and humans, such as a massive increase in food allergies among the American people ever since GMOs were allowed by the government to poison the American people.

Does the World Need Monsanto?

There’s a really good reason why people don’t have enough money to pay for food. Governments continue to redistribute income from the 99 to the 1 percent. That’s true in the USA, whose government has redistributed so much income from the 99 to the 1 percent via legislation that the 99 percent now take home only 68 percent of the nation’s income, compared with 92 percent back in 1980. That’s also true in Egypt, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Mexico, Ghana, Italy and just about every nation in the world, with only a few exceptions, mostly in Europe. So naturally people don’t have enough money to buy food. The produce of their labors are stolen by those who have political power.

Boycott These Products to Boycott Genetically Modified Insecticide Poisons These Companies Want You to Eat

Monsanto and several other corporations produce genetically modified organisms (GMOs) that have been proven to be toxic killers. Independent tests have proven they’re hazardous to human and animal health, yet the US government still allows corporations to sell them to us, without our knowledge.

They’re in virtually everything from Aunt Jemima to Quaker cereal. These poisons are in foods made by Hormel, Betty Crocker, General Mills and Frito Lay. They’re even used in Coca Cola. These companies are using GMOs to poison you, but it increases their bottom lines.

Washington D.C.: Lies Are Myths And The Golden Rule in Action

The golden rule is precisely why the 99 percent are fighting a rigged political and economic game. The golden rule is simple. He who has the gold makes the rules. The golden rule accounts for most of what goes on in government. Government isn’t really corrupt, instead, it’s an institution that has been corrupted by greed and money.

Myths capture our imagination. The 1 percent produce myths to advance their self-interest, and this is particularly at the expense of the 99 percent. These myths are used to deceive us. We read and hear the drum beat about government misuse of tax money, incompetent bureaucrats and politicians, and threats of big government. We’ve also heard about how cigarettes and GMO foods are safe, except when studies not funded by the corporations that produce the stuff are doing the studying. The US corporate media serves as a mouth piece for corporate propaganda, so the lies are grounded into our conciousness, over and over again.

Common sense should tell us that what is said about big government is also true of large corporations, for which there is a lack of transparency. Corporations hide their dastardly deeds while screeching against the supposed evils of big government, while also calling for less government interference, such as environmental, workplace, financial and other regulations that protect the 99 percent against the predations of the 1 percent and their corporations. Only fools and fascists will put more faith in supposed market forces than in a democratically controlled, transparent government. Unfortunately, the 1 percent have corrupted that government with their money, and to our detriment.

Wall Street, JP Morgan, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, General Electric, Apple Inc., the Koch Brothers, British Petroleum, Monsanto and many more do more harm to our environment, our health, our economic opportunities, and our overall quality of life every day, than any democratically elected, transparent government could do in a year. And much, but not all, of the damage done to us by corporations is through their money, and its corrupting influence on our government.

For example, where did our huge federal deficit come from? Taxes from corporations made up a third of federal tax revenue in 1950. Today, it’s less than 10 percent. Free trade treaties have shipped our jobs and tax base away with the difference between the old higher wages and the new lower wages going straight into the pockets of the 1 percent. The NSA illegal spying in violation of the US Constitution has corporate money behind it because corporations help with the spying and profit from it.

Don’t let the myths of the master’s of profits fool you. Their lies are working. They continue to tell us lies and more lies, over and over again, through their representatives and through their biased think tanks. Where did this formula for lies come from? Boycott Whole Foods Market: GMO in Their Sausages

On Saturday June 29, 2013, my girlfriend and I ambled into a Whole Foods Market on a search for camping food, but we came away stunned at what we learned about their sausages.

We were looking for organic burger and hot dog buns and sausages. So we strolled up to the meat counter and came to the sausages. A handwritten sign on the counter window said, “We make our sausages by hand.” A man behind the counter asked us if he could help us. I asked him if the sausages on display were all natural.

“Yeah,” he said.

This is Whole Foods, I thought. This is supposed to be the healthy store, but just to be funny, I asked, “Are there any GMO ingredients (genetically modified organism) in them?”

“All of our sausages have GMO ingredients in them,” he said.

“But you said your sausages were all natural.”

The meat man explained his reasoning as to why GMO products were all natural, as if taking a gene from a fish and inserting it into a soybean or canola seed, or taking a toxin and stuffing it into beet seeds, is natural. He concluded, “So if something says it’s all natural, it could have GMO ingredients, like our sausages. If something says organic, then it can’t have any GMOs in it.”

We thanked the man, strolled over to prepacked sausages, and bought a brand that said, “Organic.”

I had walked into the market thinking that we had strolled into a virtual health food store, but I left realizing that anything Whole Foods makes and sells could have GMO poison in it unless it has the organic label attached to it. Because of this market chains reputation, many people may never suspect that Whole Foods mixes in GMO poison with its sausages, as well as anything else made by the company, even if the label says, “all natural.” This is deception at its worst.

GMO foods are known to cause allergies, organ failure, shriveled testicles in rats, dead rats, a 55 percent infant mortality rate for rats within two months of being fed GMO foods, cattle that died within days of being fed GMO. Some of this is caused by the Bt toxin. It’s inserted into plants, and “ruptures the stomach of any insect that feeds upon the plant.” Monsanto manufactures the Bt poison and claims this toxin breaks down before the GMO foods make it to your dinner table. That’s a lie. Traces of the Bt toxin have been discovered in pregnant women, and the poison wouldn’t have done all that’s been attributed to it if that were true.

That’s probably why Monsanto legislatively pushed to save itself from financially disastrous lawsuits, many of which have already been filed, when its president, Barack Obama, signed the Monsanto Protection Act into law. The law basically exempted Monsanto from certain kinds of liabilities. By signing the law, Obama showed he was Monsanto’s president, and not yours.

Boycott Whole Foods until they get rid of the poison, at least out of the stuff they make by hand in their stores. Boycott Now!
